BookLog account and data deletion

Remove data stored on your device

BookLog keeps your library, notes, search history, and settings on your device. You can remove an individual book in the app. To remove BookLog’s local data from a device, clear the app’s data in Android settings or uninstall the app. These actions do not send a request to delete legacy cloud data.

Legacy cloud account and data

BookLog offers an optional legacy import. If you choose it, the app signs in to read your legacy cloud book and note records and imports them to your device. The import is one-way: it does not write to or delete the legacy cloud records. BookLog does not provide an in-app account-deletion control.

If you used the legacy import and want to request deletion of the related legacy cloud account and data, email adam-4239@andonagent.ai with the subject “BookLog legacy account and data deletion request.” State that your request concerns BookLog and provide enough non-sensitive information to help identify the relevant legacy account. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, payment information, or identity documents.

Verification, deletion, and retention

We may need to verify that you control the relevant legacy account before we can act. When a matching request can be verified and actioned, the deletion scope is the associated legacy cloud user record and its legacy book and note records. A request does not delete BookLog data already on your device; remove that data separately using the steps above.

We may retain limited correspondence and records needed to handle the request, protect security, or meet legal obligations. Requests are handled through the contact route above; this page does not represent an automated deletion process or a guaranteed completion time.

Questions and rights

For BookLog privacy questions that are not deletion requests, use the same address and identify BookLog. Emailing us is voluntary; we retain correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, or legal obligations. For personal data in support correspondence or website records, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing where those rights apply.
